He is Not Here! (Our Easter Weekend)

We had a fun-filled and extra busy Easter weekend! We had our CUPD/Family Housing Easter oh wait, Spring Egg hunt (political correctness, you know) on Saturday, followed by the Grandrabbits egg race (Grandrabbits is the best toy store around!), and then followed by our ward (ward=church, congregation, etc.) Easter party. It was a lot of fun, but we were sure ready for bed at the end of the day!

This is from the Family Housing CUPD (CU Police Dept.) Spring Egg Hunt. This picture makes me laugh and laugh every time I look at it! The look on Cameron's face! That McGruff "Crime" dog, he looks kinda shifty... (click on picture to see it bigger)

... Then stop and stare at McGruff the Crime dog in the distance again.

At the Grandrabbits egg race This is what he does when you say, "Cam! Smile!" It's funny and cute, but he doesn't look like himself at all when he does it. ;)

With Grandrabbit. He was a little apprehensive, just like McGruff, but he did say, "hello" and "goodbye."
On Easter Sunday, we enjoyed church and most of all remembering the Savior! We also did a lot of baking/cooking that day. I slaved away at this for most of the afternoon:

Then Brian made us a scrumptious Easter dinner of salmon, roasted potatoes, and asparagus! Oh, it was so good!
