Along with littletown, WY and Bear Lake we also went to Lagoon (a theme park) and This is the Place Heritage Park in the Salt Lake Valley. Oh yes, I did a lot of sitting while at Lagoon. The 3 measly rides they'll let a pregnant woman go on are: the zoo train ride, the skyride and the carousel. Yahooie. I really wanted to go on the log flume. Oh well!
Lieselbee with gal cousins Katie and Eve at Lagoon:
I love this picture. I thought it was funny who's sitting by who: Mom and Kara laughing, Cam and Hyrum looking mildly amused and Liesel snuggled into her Gpa and Brian sitting solo looking at me. I understand that Cam was not a huge fan, but Liesel liked it!
At This is the Place Heritage Park. It's a place that honors the pioneers that settled the Salt Lake Valley. It's basically a Pioneer remake town. We did old time chores, tried out stilts, rode a pony, and panned for gold. It was awesome that we got to with Brian's sister Becky and her fam (and my fam too). Becky and Roger and their kids will be spending the next year teaching in Bahrain! My camera died after like 4 pictures, so there aren't many shots of this day.
Cameron, cousin Hyrum and Miss Liesel doing old timey chores (washing clothes/rags):
Brian helping Cameron figure out the stilts:
Apparently this little game was a way pioneers taught children how to milk cows. They alternate pulling on the strings to make the bear "climb" up.
