Tree Climbing & Silly stuff

Some conversations and happenings this week:

Brian was playing dinosaurs with Cam and Cameron has his dino smash into Brian's. Brian says, "Oh, thank you for the kiss!" Brian said he was kinda frustrated with that and Cam said, "No, it was a hit!" And Brian says, "It felt lovely. Can I have another?"
:-D

Cameron playing rocket ship: "There was a bunny that came out, a space bunny [holds up his finger bunny]. And he had a string attached to him and he wanted to see if there was a moon and he saw it. And the guys were fighting."
Brian says: "Oh, this is a sad place."
Cameron: "The United States is a fun place."

Cameron playing with the rocket ship at a different point in time:
"Dad, do you know where the rocket ship is? Do you know where the rocket ship is? Do you know where the rocket ship is? Do you know where the rocket ship is?"
Brian: Where.
Cameron: Say  "it's over there!"
Brian: [very monotone] It's over there.
Marisa: [laughing]
Brian: I was a rocket ship once. It was alright.
So, you know how Cameron is always climbing trees. High. This afternoon he climbed a tree and got "stuck" (for the upteenth time). His little friends were very nervous about it. They kept coming up to me and their moms saying, "Mommy! Cameron's stuck in the tree! You have to get him down!!" I decided to leave him up there for a nice long time to teach him a lesson. I was checking on him and he never looked scared or in any danger of falling even though he was telling his AUDIENCE that he was "very scared" and "didn't know how to get down." Pff. As soon as I got his audience to leave him alone, he scooted down the tree as easily as he climbed up. AAH! This kid! The whole incident actually made one of his little friends CRY because he thought Cameron was going to be stuck up there forever.... sigh.
